Crap I missed it by 3 seconds!!!

Ah well, now I get to ramble at my leisure. Bet you think I forgot last year since there's no 2009 post huh? Ha ha! I certainly did not. Last year was when those zunzabeaches decided to limit Geocitie's bandwidth so much that - they closed it down altogether - aarrrgg! So although I never made it here specifically to say hello, I was paying tribute - well, more like retrieving tribute actually.

You'll be happy to know (one day, certainly not today, because today you still don't know I've even been doing any of this) that your web pages have been protected from global vaporisation by Geocities - and on top of that, they were also submitted for archival caching to an Internet group who wants to keep - what will be down the road many, many years from now - digital copies of "early websites".

Unfortunately it doesn't mean that they exist online at the moment any longer, since they were in line with a few million others waiting for archival - but they will be back online eventually - so like I said way back at the beginning, all this will probably end up as your grandchildren's entertainment. Could even be your great-grandchildren at this rate!

Aaaaarg! It took me all day to find this damn blog I made in tribute to you and here it is 6 minutes left before the day is gone and my wireless connection keeps cutting out!!!

Today you are 20 kiddo so I guess I really can't call you kiddo.... but I can say that I freakin' made it, as I do nearly every year to leave my tribute to you somewhere out here in cyber-space =)
